13th November
Yesterday was a day to be remembered. There was a whole lot of fun at Keith's house, wasn't there? Here's a narration.
Stupid Yuhan. Made me go from Tampines to Kembangan and wait for ten minutes before he turned up with 2 huge red plastic bags both containing 5 big bottled drinks. And he said he had to rest twice on his journey from his house to Kembangan MRT interchange. -.-' After we reached Tampines and while waiting for Wang Nian, Shasha called and ordered us to get sparkling juice and Jolly Shandy. Yuhan was cursing his head off. Lol. I should have taken a video of that.
There's one thing worth commending - the brownie which Shasha and Carol made. It tasted fab! I wondered why Wang Nian refused to even eat even a small morsel. Oh well. He would pay for that later on, wouldn't he? Lol.
And so Wang Nian and I played battlefield while the rest watched a movie. Afterwards, Qi Hui, Audrey and Fifi arrived and Keith proudly declared the screening of Ju-On - The Prequel. I guess it's pretty much a success since Keith planned to scare everyone present, including himself. Everyone was clutching their cushions tightly, especially Fifi whom didn't even dare to look at the TV. Haha. Don't I deserve some credit for bringing that movie? XPPPP
BBQ time! We made our way down to the pit and spent quite some time on the fire-starting process. Carol tried to make herself useful by offering to light the matches but alas, she just had no affinity with fire. Poor thing. Haha. Next, she attempted to bbq her marshmallow and ended up blackening it terribly, and she simply dumped it into the pile of burning charcoal. Little wonder Wang Nian looked so frustrated. Haha. Things went smoothly afterwards, with everyone having their share of fun bbq-ing food and taking photos; with a small exception, there was a hungry cat lurking somewhere out there. Haha.
I just don't know how it started. Everyone was getting ready to pack up and all of a sudden, Wang Nian and Shasha began to pelt each other with ice taken from a pail. An ice battle. Soon, Betsy and Wen Qin started too. Another ice battle. Lol. But it was real fun watching them running all over the place. Then, Wang Nian seemed to have had enough and wanted to deal his final strike. He scooped water from the pail using a small container and ran around chasing Shasha. Again, Carol came forward to lend a helping hand - she rushed over and knocked the container against Wang Nian. As a finishing touch, Keith took up the whole pail and... you guessed it. Wang Nian just got a DOUBLE WHAMMY! LOL. He paid for it, didn't he? XDDDD
Before we concluded the day, we had a group photo taken. Say cheese!
